5 Must-Try Beauty Deals!

5 Must-Try Beauty Deals!

Here’s a simple breakdown of how my beauty research works: as I explore all sorts of beauty products, from pricey face creams to budget-friendly brow gels, I keep an eye out for standout affordable options. Once I find five gems, I create a video to share them. I should really make these videos more often, but time seems to slip away, especially when new, shiny products from beauty labs catch my attention. This results in a list of incredible products that are surprisingly budget-friendly yet offer amazing quality. In my latest video, I showcase a lipstick that costs a fraction of what I paid for a Gucci one, a fantastic new anti-dandruff shampoo, and three more exciting beauty finds. It’s a delightful mix of quality products at great prices!

First up is the Revlon “Pink in the Afternoon” lipstick, available for £7.99 on Amazon. After testing a Gucci lipstick, I set out to find the best pink lipsticks on the high street. Though it was a bit tricky due to missing or messy testers, this Revlon shade is a fantastic find. It’s slightly more subdued than Gucci’s Kimberley Rose but is much more versatile and easy to wear. It starts with a shiny finish that fades to a soft powdery pink. For just £7.99, it’s a much better deal than the Gucci version, canvas bag or not!

Next is the Sali Hughes Placid 5 Acid Daily Exfoliant, priced at £9.80 on LookFantastic. I’m a fan of acid exfoliants for their glow-enhancing and pore-clearing properties. Sali’s version delivers both benefits while being incredibly gentle, making it suitable for daily use. Perfect for those new to exfoliants, especially if you’re unsure how to integrate it with your other skincare products like retinoids.

The L’Oreal Revitalift Clinical SPF50 is currently £10 at Sainsbury’s, down from £19.99. This face sunscreen offers high protection with a lightweight, non-greasy feel. It’s a dream under makeup and perfect for carrying around. Ideal for oily skin, although dry skin types might want to layer it over a good moisturizer.

Mitchum’s Cedarwood Stick Deodorant, at £4.04, is another great pick. Although I enjoyed their Gel Cream deodorant, I found it a bit messy. The cream stick version in Cedarwood scent is wonderful, with a refreshing green and woody aroma. It promises 24-hour protection, which works well for a regular day, though intense workouts might test its limits.

Finally, the Head & Shoulders Bare Shampoo is available for £6.66 at Boots. It’s a fresh approach for the brand, offering a premium feel with a simplified ingredient list. It still includes their effective anti-dandruff agent but is gentle on the scalp, leaving hair feeling soft without dryness. Free from sulfated surfactants, silicones, and dyes, its rich lather feels luxurious. At this price, it’s a great bargain.

That wraps it up! Now you can check out the video for more details.
