Oh dear, Hush Homewear might just be my financial downfall. They’ve sent me two big boxes full of stunning clothes to shoot in Palm Springs, and everything is absolutely perfect. The pieces are stylish, incredibly flattering, and still comfortable. How do they even manage that? Many brands get it wrong—casual often means poorly fitting clothes that lose their shape after a few wears. I want slouchy jumpers that hang well without looking oversized, jersey fabrics that don’t cling awkwardly, t-shirts with enough room, and dresses that don’t reveal too much. And they should still look cool.
Hush gets all of this right, and my wardrobe is slowly becoming full of their dependable pieces. The Sophia top I bought last season has made several appearances in my Daily Mix videos, and I practically live in my “sloppy joe” sweatshirt. Don’t even get me started on the Antique Floral pyjamas—they’re the best, hands down.
Now, let’s talk about the spring collection, which is bursting with yellows, corals, and beautiful neutrals. The two-tone sloppy joe dress is a great find—I’ll be pairing mine with tanned legs and white converse. I’m also planning to layer the fine cotton t-shirts with their chunky metallic knitwear. The pictures on their website look amazing!
If I had to pick a standout piece, it would be the snakeskin print maxi dress. The fabric is soft and light, floating around your body, with an elasticated bust section to keep everything in place. It doesn’t offer the support of a bra, but it’s enough for a beach day or a casual lunch outing. I’ve featured it in an upcoming video, so you can get a closer look there.
Thanks to this Hush “haul” (technically they’re shoot samples), I’ve got most of my outfits sorted for the trip and might not even pack many of my own clothes! It’s a great opportunity to test out my favorites—definitely a perk of the job.
