I confess, I’m a bit of a loungewear enthusiast. I love being comfortable, especially since I work from home most of the time. That’s one of the perks of being a freelancer! I often find myself browsing the internet for great knitwear. However, I notice that many sweaters, cardigans, and scarves tend to look rather plain and unappealing. There’s often no effort to show how a warm, cozy knit could be a part of your everyday style. Really, that’s what good clothing images should do—they should make you think, “I can totally see myself wearing that with jeans for a leisurely walk on the beach.”
The images in Hush’s online and print catalogue succeed in doing just that. I find myself wanting every piece I see. They’ve been styled so well that they’ve inspired me to reorganize my wardrobe to mix and match various tops, knits, and scarves. I’m even planning to make an Autumn fashion video all about layering knitwear, so stay tuned for that! Once it’s ready, I’ll share it here, so you can get a closer look at some of the Hush items.
The quality is impressive; even the casual, unstructured jumpers and cardigans are designed with care. My personal favorite is the chunky cardigan pictured at the top—I’m almost hoping for colder weather just so I can wear it all the time. It’s such a beautiful color and incredibly soft—I can easily see myself dozing off by a fireplace, book in hand, with Mr. Bear at my feet.
Browsing the Hush website comes with a warning—it’s addictive! I’ve already got three pairs of pajamas and a star scarf on order. If you’re curious about the cozy vibe of their pictures, let me just say—I want everything!
