Yesterday, I attended the press preview of Karl Lagerfeld’s photographic exhibition, “The Little Black Jacket.” As expected, it was stylish, stunning, and effortlessly cool. The portraits featured models, actors, and various individuals, all wearing Chanel’s classic black jacket. It’s a brilliant concept that highlights the incredible versatility of a timeless fashion piece. I’ve always wanted a Chanel jacket like this, and it’s definitely on my list of iconic items I aspire to own, along with a Maxmara winter coat and an Herve Leger bandage dress.
I’m giving away some posters I picked up at the exhibition—there are three in total, and they look amazing! If you’re interested, you can check them out on my vlog channel, so feel free to visit and subscribe. There’s also a bit of shaky footage of the exhibition (I really need to learn that iPhone videos aren’t the best) and more pictures of the gallery space.
The Little Black Jacket exhibition is held at the Saatchi Gallery, just off Kings Road in Southwest London. The closest tube station is Sloane Square, but to truly capture the Chanel vibe, you might want to arrive in a black cab, wearing high heels and a touch of Rouge Allure lipstick!
