Who would have thought I’d find something I’d actually want to wear at Costco? Not me! Usually, it’s just rows of unflattering jeans and fleeces in strange pastel shades. Occasionally, they stock Converse shoes, but again, in those odd pastel colors. Sometimes you might spot some decent Calvin Klein lingerie—like sleep shorts and ribbed vests—but mostly it’s just fleeces, peculiar onesies, and plastic clogs.
That was until last month when I went in to pick up my usual 10kg tub of Basmati rice (only £6!) and stumbled upon a whole batch of Adidas hoodies and trackpants. I have a soft spot for Adidas—I just love the stripes! As a kid, I always wanted an Adidas top like the older kids had, but my mom dismissed them as “Market Stall” tops.

Now that I’m an adult and can choose my clothes, I’ve developed a fondness for Adidas. The more eye-catching, the better, which is why this gray hoodie with hot pink details caught my eye. I might even create a makeup look inspired by these colors—they’re such a striking combination! My mom will probably have a fit when she sees it on her next visit. I’m even thinking of finding some matching bottoms. By the way, I made Mr. AMR buy some gray marl joggers with black stripes; he’s not quite sold on them yet.
I think this hoodie was £22.95, but I’ll have to confirm with Mr. AMR, who holds the Costco membership and keeps track of the receipts. Keep an eye out for the Market Stall Makeup Tutorial!
