It’s not a mistake; I’m just trying to keep this in the right places on the internet, if you catch my drift. It’s payday! Well, that’s if you have a regular job. If you’re like me and work freelance, payday can show up any day—or not at all. Since I’ve pretty much drained my bank account until Christmas, here’s my little wishlist for payday splurging.
First on the list is the Aubin & Wills Quilted Cotton-Jersey Sweater for £45 from Net-a-Porter. I think I’m really going to have to buy it. By the time you read this, I might already have it. I have a weakness for grey marl and love the quilting. Plus, it’s priced similarly to Zara, and definitely cheaper than Reiss and Whistles. I’m hoping that little delivery van from Net-a-Porter brings it to my door.
Next up is the J.Crew Metallic Knitted Sweater for £80, also from Net-a-Porter. I might just have to get this one, too. It’s the perfect piece to jazz up my jeans and will look fabulous on Christmas Day. Planning ahead is always a good idea!
Then there’s the Mulberry Alexa Croc Satchel, priced at £885 from Selfridges. To be honest, this one probably isn’t gonna happen. I’m still figuring out how to use the ‘sparkle tweed Tillie,’ which is possibly the most impractical bag ever made. So, I can’t see how a croc bag in off-white would be any easier to use. But hey, a person can dream, right?
I really want a British Shorthair Cat, preferably in blue. I’ve spent hours watching videos of them. If anyone knows where I can find one for sale, let me know! I’m aware that a cat is a lifetime commitment and not just a payday purchase.
Actually, if I could just have the cat, that would be perfect. I want one so much!
