A couple of weeks ago, The Sunday Times Style featured an article on cricket jumpers, and there was this lush cashmere one from Boden that caught my eye. It was sold out immediately, and I really wanted it. You know that feeling when you can’t get something you desire and then spend ages looking for it, only to find it years later when it’s no longer relevant? Well, that’s what happened. However, someone on Twitter helped me out, and I finally got my dream jumper from Boden. They had a few left that weren’t showing on the system, so it’s worth calling customer service if you’re interested in one.
Since the Boden sweater is £195 and sold out, here are some alternatives that might not match it but will save me some money:

3. Crew Clothing’s pink jumper lacks stripes but is cable knit. I’m drawn to pastels in spring, even though they aren’t always flattering unless you naturally pull off that cheerleader or model look. If you can rock pastel pink, this sweater is £48.
4. Zoe Karssen’s luxurious wool, silk, and cashmere jumper usually costs £225 but is available for £112.50 on The Outnet. Its longline design is perfect for staying covered while chasing after a baby.
5. The budget-friendly option at £7.75, available on Amazon, is intriguing. I’m unsure about the quality, but it has a nice length and pretty stripes. I wonder what it’s made from to be priced so low—air? Positive thoughts? It could give tiny electric shocks, but it’s a quick, cheap cricket jumper fix.
