Styling Tips: Three Approaches to Wearing a Little Black Dress

Styling Tips: Three Approaches to Wearing a Little Black Dress

I’m really excited about my little black dress from BA&SH at Monica & Joe! It’s got such a classy vibe. I put together a short video showing off three different ways to style it: a chic ballet look, a glamorous Robert Palmer-inspired look, and a grungy biker style. I feel most comfortable in the biker look, but I’m definitely planning to wear all three during the Christmas holidays.

While I’m writing this, I’ve got another tab open with a biker jacket and another dress in my shopping cart at Monica & Joe. They have a 50% off sale right now! This time of year is the toughest on my wallet since I can’t pass up a good deal. Oh well, I guess I won’t change!

In the video, I’ve included a rundown of the makeup I used for each look. I hope you enjoy this kind of style video because I plan to make more of them!

Here’s what I used for each style:

Natural Look:
– Ballet Pumps from Office
– Clinique High Lengths Mascara
– Jouer Tinted Moisturizer
– Jemma Kidd Cream Blush in Pawpaw
– Sue Devitt Shadow in Icelandic Fjord
– Urban Decay Liplove in ‘Taunt’

Biker Boots Look:
– Biker Boots from Belstaff
– No7 Tinted Moisturizer
– YSL Touche Éclat
– Giorgio Armani Lipstick in Beige 100
– YSL Tuxedo Eye Palette
– YSL Dessin du Regard Black Eye Pencil

Red Lips Look:
– Jouer for the base (as mentioned above)
– Shiseido Bronzer in shade 2
– No7 Shadow Pencil
– All For Eve Lipstick
– YSL Dessin du Regard Black Eye Pencil
