Here’s a quick look at my outfit of the day, which shows off how I wore my cat vest on vacation. Though a bit goofy, it might give you some styling inspiration. I picked up the cat vest for £7.99 at H&M—if you dig around, you might still find a few. Underneath, I wore a Hanky Panky bandeau, but it wasn’t the best choice as it flattened my chest. The cat’s head could definitely use a bit of shaping! The silk skirt is an old favorite from Banana Republic, and I’ve worn it so often that it’s starting to become sheer at the bottom. I suspect it has only one more summer left before it retires beneath the kitchen sink as a cleaning cloth.
For the lip gloss, I’m using “Reyna” by Kevyn Aucoin. It’s got a lovely texture, but the shade just doesn’t work for me. I am tempted to try Tulipina, but I have a huge stash of glosses to go through, so I’m holding off for now. My nail polish is Chanel’s Holiday.
