I’ve just done something a bit risky. I accidentally stumbled upon L.K. Bennett’s website and now I’m obsessed with nearly everything in their new collection. There’s this pair of Florette shoes I regret not buying during the sales because I hesitated too long. But this time, I’m not going to miss out—I’ve got my eyes set on the “Jennie” color block courts in black and white. I plan to grab them when I go into town later. Aren’t they delightfully eighties? While not everyone loves that style from the eighties, I adore some two-tone shoes. With the Brit Awards coming up next week, those Jennie shoes could be perfect paired with a little black dress and a leather jacket to add a bit of rock ‘n roll flair.
Also, take a look at the “Fae” dotted style—they’re fun and look kind of dotty up close, but from a distance, they’re fresh and clean, like a soft neon tangerine. They’d be perfect with jeans and a light cashmere sweater for a summer day, or even with a cute dress and tanned legs. (I can’t even remember what the sun looks like at this point!)
Lastly, on my wishlist is the Gwen bag. It’s stunning and reminiscent of Old Hollywood glamour. I adore the leather colors and the chain strap—absolutely crave it.
