Lately, I’ve been obsessing over finding a pair of red shoes to wear to my brother’s wedding next month. It’s a strange fixation, I admit, but spending sleepless nights with nothing but Google for company makes it easy to stumble across must-have items.
I’ve ended up ordering two pairs of red shoes from the LK Bennett sale—and I’m keeping both! One pair has a lower heel, which is perfect for walking on cobblestones and carrying a baby before the ceremony. The other pair, with higher heels, will be just right for adding a touch of glamour when I’m sipping my one glass of champagne.
As many know, I adore LKB heels because they always fit perfectly and are comfortable for hours. The first pair, the Floret Suede Courts, are actually labeled as orange, but they’re the closest to a red-orange, similar to an ideal summer lipstick shade. I got them for £85, down from £170.
The second pair is more daring, with a faux-python-effect leather and random black spots. I’m in love with them, though I can’t find them online anymore, probably because I snagged the last pair! They have the same heel height but a different design, so it might be worth checking out the sale for other treasures. I might go back for the matching bag for my python heels.
